The club is in Mill Street, Chagford, Devon. Enter Mill Street from The Square, passing Bowden’s shop on the left and the club is approx 150 yards further down on the right, behind the high stone wall.
We have no parking for cars, but there is a public pay-and-display car park (turn left on entering The Square), on-street parking in the marked white boxes on the road only, and down the hill past the club in Manor Road outside the parking zone.
Whatever you do, don’t park in the loading bays, or in the disabled persons bays in The Square (unless of course you have a suitable disabled persons pass), or anywhere outside the white boxes.
Who are we?
We are a small friendly mixed bowling club, affiliated to Bowls Devon and Bowls England.
Our green is opposite Moorlands in Mill Street and we play bowls throughout the season from the end of April until late September.
New members are always welcome – with or without any previous experience – it is a simple game to pick up, and good company and fresh air make a pleasant afternoon.
So whether you want to learn the game and just enjoy playing within the club, or wish to play in friendly matches against other local clubs in this part of Devon, do come along – you will be sure of a warm welcome.
